‘There’s no way I’m becoming a vegetarian!’

Nov 26, 2016 | Yoga for Beginners, Yoga Tips

(Did you miss Myth 3? If so, catch up here.)

Could this be your excuse for not trying yoga?

There’s no strict rule against eating meat if you practise yoga although there are many health benefits to being vegetarian or vegan. Yoga philosophy encourages non-violence (or non-harming in any form) which is often the reason why many people choose not to eat meat but not all body types can thrive on a purely vegetarian diet. This in itself could be a great discussion debate around the dinner table!

However, one of the great benefits of practising yoga regularly is that over time you find yourself naturally adopting a healthier lifestyle.

It may inspire you to become more conscious of what you’re eating. Imagine no diets or strict regimes, just a natural shift in the right direction that seems effortless.

Why not try for yourself and see what happens. Here is a free gift to help you get started – a gentle 10 min yoga practice, find out more >> http://bit.ly/10minuyoga
