Stepping into the New

Oct 1, 2019

“Life starts all over again when it gets crisp in the fall.”
— F. Scott Fitzgerald, The Great Gatsby

As I write this, I notice the changing seasons and a stage of transition. The other day, I was in a summer dress and flip flops (not bad for late September) and today warmer clothing and socks. There’s no going back now. Autumn is here.

I’m much more aware of and in tune with nature’s rhythm than in the past when I’d be impatient for spring to arrive or disappointed when summer was over. I’d try to keep up the same ‘busy’ momentum throughout the year and wonder why it was a struggle to sustain, why I felt off, lethargic, distracted and disconnected from myself and what was needed.

Changing seasons are often marked by letting go of the past, recognizing and accepting the transformation and stepping into the new.

Imagine the end and the beginning merging, a place to pause, take stock and reflect.

What will you choose to take with you, what will you let go?

What will you renew?

What are you willing to try again? It’s never too late to try again.

It doesn’t have to have to be a fanfare or some loud declaration to the world.

It can be a soft whisper to yourself. Starting with a breath, a thought, a reflection, a wish or an intention.

A gentle reconnection to yourself.

There’s an invitation packaged within the transition and you can choose how to move forward. You always have a choice.

Rather than looking outside of yourself for the answer, focusing on the goal and end result, keep your intention in mind and commit to simply taking the next best step.

By staying present and engaged you’re working from the inside out, building consistency with ease.

When we’re motivated in the early phases of something, committed to enjoying the process rather than the result, this can have a huge impact on improving the quality of our life.

Give yourself permission to take it step by step and not be in a rush to get to the next level or goal. You appreciate the outcome so much more when you build a solid foundation and are aligned with your purpose every step of the way.

With that in mind, I’m excited to share two special opportunities for you in Luzern, central Switzerland, to help you find a reconnection to yourself and support your busy lifestyle.
