Dispelling Yoga Myth No. 2 of 8: ‘I don’t have time for yoga’.

Nov 12, 2016 | Yoga for Beginners, Yoga Tips

(Did you miss Myth 1? If so, catch up here.)

Still feeling apprehensive about starting a yoga practice?

My biggest excuse before starting a regular practice! When we have too much going on and stress rears it’s familiar, ugly head we tend to let go of healthy routines, of what supports us most. We make excuses for not stepping up, we wait for the perfect day, time, things to get better. But that perfect timing is never going to happen, you need to start right where you are.

It doesn’t have to be 90 mins, 10-15 mins can be enough.

Think of it in terms of your healthy ROI. The positive effects of your yoga practice will continue far beyond the actual time you spend on the mat.

Imagine:

– feeling more relaxed as you deal with the tasks of the day.

– handling stressful situations with a clear perspective.

– feeling more balanced.

– having a positive energy that makes you feel great and effects those around you. Not bad!
